Our First Rockcrawling Competition!

In June of 23, we went to Vernal Utah to compete in our very first rock crawling competition! Our plan was to have Emily drive, and I would be her spotter. We have been practicing a bit on our local trails at home. We even went as far as to set up a practice rock crawling course in the weeks prior. On our very first day, on our very first course, we came dangerously close to timing out! How it works is, you have 10 minutes to complete a course. You have four sets of cones to get through in that time. If you hit a cone, you get an added 10 points. Some of the sets of cones have bonus gates as well. Our goal on day one was to just complete the courses and get through the main sets of cones! Our first two courses were rough, but on courses 3 and 4, we started to find our stride!
